Mountaintop Overlook: Beautiful Mountain View

THE SPACE:

We hope you make yourself at home. I think you will find our place does not feel like a typical rental, but rather a cozy mountain getaway home.

The Mountain Top Overlook @ Wintergreen Resort is a recently renovated two bedroom(comfortable king size beds), two full bathroom condo with a new sleeper sofa. It boasts panoramic window views of the Blue Ridge Mountains/Valley, while being located in sought after Wintergreen Resort. This condo is one level, on the ground level with easy access to the grassy area out back overlooking the valley. Once inside the condo building, you do need to go down a half flight of stairs to reach the front door of the condo.

BEDROOMS:

1) Master Suite - Enter the spacious Master Bedroom Suite, to a king size Leesa memory foam bed (we get many compliments on the comfort of our beds). This room has dresser, two side tables, a fan, closet and television. The Master bathroom is expansive and has a double vanity and shower.

2) Second Bedroom – Furnished with a Leesa memory foam king size bed. This room has two night stands, a dresser, sound machine, closet and television. This second bedroom has easy access to the hallway bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

3) Living Room Sofa Bed- New Pottery Barn Queen size pullout sofa is located in the living room. Sheets and pillows for this bed are stored in the living room cupboard.

All bedrooms have an extra set of sheets in their closets, extra pillows and blankets.

KITCHEN:

Our kitchen is fully equipped with all you should need for your stay. We have pots/pans/glasses/plates and silverware. We provide a Keurig coffee pot as well as a drip coffee pot. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and toaster. We will supply you with some k-cups to get you started. We also have creamer and sugar available. The refrigerator may have some condiments you can use. There may also be spices in the cupboard. Help yourself!

LIVING ROOM

Our TV is a Smart TV, which allows you to sign in to your own streaming applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, HULU, YouTube, Disney+, etc

We also have a desk work area located in the Living Room overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have high speed internet.

FIREPLACE

We have a cozy wood burning fireplace located in the living room, perfect for snuggling up in the cooler months. Firewood is provided, and is located outside the condo doors. It is stocked regularly from mid-October to mid-March.

DECK/BACKYARD

The back deck is truly an incredible panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Valley. We have a high top table as well as an outdoor sofa and coffee table. The deck has an entry gate, and down a few steps you will be in the grassy area out back which provides another bench for sitting and viewing the mountains.

When you arrive, you’ll find a QR code to our digital guidebook through touchstay with additional information to help make your stay comfortable. The owner is never further away than a call or text. In the guidebook you will also find some of our favorite restaurants, shopping and sights.

GETTING AROUND

You’ll be minutes away from wintergreen slopes, golf course, tennis courts, hiking and so much more. The Wintergreen Ski Shuttle goes by the property rotating at 15 minute intervals during the ski season.

The Market, Wintergreen's country store, is just a short 5 minute drive away, located on the mountain. It provides your basic food staples, hot breakfast, cold sandwiches and healthy salads, fresh baked goods, desserts and fresh hot pizza (by the pie or by the slice). You’ll also find a variety of gourmet cheeses, crackers, chips, yogurts, jams and jellies, and local micro-brew beers, wines and ciders. We recommend you get basic groceries items before coming up the mountain.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have access to the entire condo except for a hallway closet and ski closet, both of which remain locked. We offer self check-in for your convenience. Details given if you book our home.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Please do not book this home if you smoke. Some of our regular guests have hypersensitivity to any trace of smoke, so we strictly enforce our no smoking/vaping policy. Even smoking somewhere else and bringing the scent in, will result in an additional $500 cleaning fee.

We ask you treat our home with the same respect you do your own and you must know we allow no parties or events within the home.
